    Most residents are staying home for the holiday season, some because of tradition and some because of the economy.
    Resident Janet Loveday said that she has her family over for Christmas Eve and Christmas every year.
    “I go to church on Christmas Eve for the Lord’s Super,” Loveday said, “and my three children and four grandchildren come over my house to celebrate.
    “We have it at my house so we can all spend time together during Christmas.”
    Liz, who did not want to give her last name, also has her family over for Christmas, but they will be celebrating early this year.
    “We are actually doing it this Sunday so all of the kids can be there at once,” she said. “They go to their in-laws and such on Christmas.”
    A resident, who asked to not be named, said she would be staying home this Christmas because of the economy.
    “I don’t have any gas money so I will be staying home,” she said. “Normally I would drive to go see family, but not this year.”
