The second city for the touring company of Dolly Parton's Tony and Grammy-nominated "9 To 5: The Musical" was revealed over the weekend: Atlanta.
As was previously reported, the tour will kick off with a Sept. 21-26 engagement at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Broadway World reported Sunday that the show will then move to Atlanta's Fox Theatre Sept. 28-Oct. 3 as part of the city's Theater of the Stars 2010 season.
Theater of the Stars President Nick Manos told the publication: "We have been interested in this show for years. I think Dolly Parton is a breath of fresh air to the world of musical theatre and you can tell she really believes in the show. We are thrilled to be presenting this show as part of our season."
Dolly's musical closed on Broadway in September after 148 performances and 24 previews sold nearly 219,000 tickets.
