Two Knoxville men have been charged in connection with a burglary that occurred in Seymour.
Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals said that the Sevier Co. Sheriff’s Office investigated a residential burglary on Fox Creek road at approximately 11 a.m Dec. 11.
The Knoxville Police Department later got into a car pursuit on Magnolia Ave. and chased the car to an area in West Knoxville.
James E. Jett, 36, of 1009 Bob Gray Road in Knoxville and Nolan T. Wiginton, 21, of 1100 Brown Road in Knoxville were taken into custody at the scene.
During a search of the car, property from the burglary was found and confiscated.
Sevier Co. Sheriff’s Investigators worked with Knoxville authorities and charged the pair with aggravated burglary.
The men are currently incarcerated in Knox County Jail and are awaiting a hearing date.
