
Seymour Intermediate School held its Third Annual Christmas Around the World on Tuesday.
Students shared crafts, songs, food and holiday customs from around the world with those who attended the event.
Participants enjoyed a down-home Christmas dinner and decorated sugar cookies with elves.
Vendors provided an assortment of Christmas gifts at the event’s marketplace and children were able to purchase affordable gifts for family members at the Secret Santa Shop.
Hot chocolate, cider, cookies and S’mores were enjoyed by those in attendance by the fire while Christmas music was played.
Children had their pictures taken with Santa throughout the night after telling him what they wanted for Christmas and the Seymour Intermediate chorus presented “Paint the Town December” at the end of the evening.
