Residents Celebrating Thanksgiving Locally

    Many Seymour residents are celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday locally with family.
    Resident Debbie Henry said she was celebrating locally with her family at her parents’ house.
    “There is mom, dad, us, the grandkids and sisters who all get together,” she said.
    Another resident celebrating in the area is Joyce Mercer who said her family gets together to celebrate.
    “My daughter cooks though,” Mercer said. “I don’t have to do any cooking, all I have to do is the stuffing.”
    Resident Angela Strunk said her family also gets together locally to celebrate Thanksgiving.
    “We just all get together and cook,” she said.
    Though most of his family lives in Canada, resident John Yewer said he and his wife will be spending Thanksgiving together in Seymour.
    “We’ll just have a quite turkey dinner together here,” he said.
