According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals 2 Sevier County men have been arrested and charged in connection with four burglaries that occurred in Sevier County.
Seals states that on Wednesday Oct 21st 2009 SCSO received a suspicious vehicle call in the Pine Mountain area of Sevier County and officers put out a Be On The Look Out (BOLO) on the car.
Approximately two hours later the vehicle was spotted by a Seviervile PD Officer and was stopped and held for Sevier Co Detectives. Detectives found 3 flat screen TVs and other electronics in the vehicle that were later identified as items that had been stolen from four residential burglaries that had occurred earlier in the morning in the Pine Mtn Area.
The occupants of the car was identified as Roy P. Haynes age 19 of 726 Thomas Road Sevierville and Tommy A. Franklin age 19 of 1025 Franklin Way Sevierville.
Both men were charged with four counts of aggravated burglary and both are currently incarcerated in Sevier Co. Jail under a $30,000.00 bond. A December 12th 2009 hearing date has been set in General Sessions Court.
