The Farmer's Market will be end its 2009 season after Saturday October 10th
This last Saturday is an excellent opportunity to get some fall produce such as greens, squash, and sweet potatoes. Farmers also have some great pumpkins, cornstalks and other items for Fall Harvest decorating.
“There has been a lot of good fellowship, wonderful home grown produce, farm fresh eggs, honey and a variety of other items,” said Margie Richardson, also known as the ‘Bakery Lady’.
She went on to say, “We use to get people from Gatlinburg. This year we didn’t have as many people come as before because of the farmers market in Sevierville. But we still had great participation and support.”
There will be a lot of great fall decoration at the last Saturday market.
The market is open 7:00 am until 11:00 am in the lower parking lot of the First Baptist Church at Seymour on Chapman Highway.
The members of the Seymour Farmer's Market would like to thank the Seymour Herald for its support and advertisements of the market! Sincere thanks also goes to Seymour First Baptist Church for letting us use their parking lot for the market. We appreciate the support of the community; your patronage makes it possible for us to offer homegrown farm products in Seymour and your friendship makes the work worthwhile!
