This week, Cocke, Hamblen, Jefferson and Sevier County residents will find 5 more reasons to take steps to end Alzheimer's disease. The Alzheimer's Association is launching its first-ever Smoky Mountain Memory Walk Spirit Week. From Monday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Oct. 2, participants who sign up and team up for the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Pigeon Forge High School will win FREE food.
Collier Restaurant Group is helping people catch the Memory Walk spirit by providing daily incentives through each of its five restaurants: Corky's Ribs & BBQ, Gatti's Pizza, Flapjack's Pancake Cabin, Golden Corral, and TGI Friday's.
Participants who register online, recruit and meet fundraising benchmarks online can win FREE BBQ sandwiches, pizzas, pancakes, and burgers! Plus, five winners will earn a buffet dinner at the Golden Corral once a month for a year. To take part, visit www.alz.org/TN .
