Sevier County, TN. – The Sevier County Public Library System, 321 Court Avenue, Sevierville, held their annual book sale during the week of May 15 – May 21, 2009. Because of an increased amount of donations, the SCP Library System has decided to host an encore book sale during September and October 2009. The sale begins Saturday, September 26 and will continue during business hours until the end of the workday the following Saturday, October 3.   
Sale dates and hours are:
•Sat., September 26 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•Mon., September 28 – 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
•Tues., September 29 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•Wed., September 30 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•Thurs., October 1 – 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
•Fri., October 2 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
•Sat., October 3 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

SCPLS BOOK CLUB MEETINGS FOR AUGUST
SEVIER COUNTY, TN. Each month, the Sevier County Public Library System hosts a variety of book clubs to fit personal reading preferences. The SCPLS Main Library Fireside Book Club enjoys books of a more contemporary, eclectic view. The SCPLS Inspirational Reading Club focuses on an inspirational author and his or her works each month instead of a specific book. The SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Classics Book Club discusses previous and more recent classics.
Each club holds a monthly meeting and the August meeting dates; authors and books are as followed:
•         Friday, August 14 @ 10:00 a.m. – SCPLS Main Library Fireside Book Club will review Marsha Hamilton’s book “The Camel Bookmobile.” The club meets at Fort Sanders Sevier County Senior Center at 1220 West Main Street in Sevierville. •         Wednesday, August 12 @ 1:00 p.m. – SCPLS Seymour Branch Inspirational Reading Club will discuss the authors, Brock & Brodie Thoene, their series and stand-alone books. •         Friday, August 28 @ 6:00 p.m. – SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Classics Book Club March’s meeting will feature E.M.
