The city of Sevierville Water and Sewer Department announced Monday the temporary closure of Scenic Drive in Sevierville, to through traffic.

The department will be rehabilitating approximately 1,200 feet of sewer line. The work will not affect sewer service in the area.

The project is expected to take several weeks to complete, weather and other conditions permitting.

Scenic Drive will be closed to through traffic Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day.
