According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals a Sevier County man has been arrested in connection with a 1985 Homicide that occurred in Fulton Co. Ohio.

Walter E. Zimbeck II, age 42, of 901 Navaho Lane. on Kodak was arrested on a  fugitive from justice warrant based on the murder charges that had been issued in Ohio. Detectives from Fulton Co. Ohio came to Sevier Co. on July 20, 2009 with the warrants and Zimbeck was taken into custody on Monday evening at his home without incident. Seals stated that Sevier Co. Sheriffs investigators have been assisting Ohio authorities with the case since late 2008.

Zimbeck was arraigned before a Magistrate and he was held overnight without bond. Zimbeck was arraigned in Sevier Co. General Sessions Court on Tuesday July 21, 2009.

He signed a waiver of extradition to be transported back to Ohio.
