Last week a car fire on Chapman Hwy next to the  Hot Rod Cafe kept motorists at bay as officers waited for firefighters to arrive on the scene. The cause of the blaze was unknown at press time, but no injuries were reported. Chapman Hwy was shut down in the southbound lane as a precaution until the fire extinguished.
