Walters State’s Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts has two special dining opportunities planned this summer.

            The Culinary I class will host a brunch at 11 a.m. on June 30. The menu includes omelets to order, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, home fries, grits, biscuits and gravy, French Toast and more. The cost is $10.

            The Garde Manager class will host an Independence Day celebration oat 6 p.m. on July 1. This buffet meal will include bar-b-que pork ribs and chicken, beef brisket, grilled sausages and a pasta station with grilled vegetables. An array of salads will also be available with desserts prepared by the advanced baking class. The cost is $25.
