Around 8:00am Wednesday morning a Chevrolet mini pickup driven by Brandon Harvey of Seymour slammed into an older Grand Marque on Chapman Highway in front of Hardee's restaurant.
Harvey was traveling north on Chapman when he T-boned the Marque.
“I was in the inside lane and went thru the green light, saw this car that was sortof in both lanes turn into Hardee's when all of a sudden a blue car appeared right out in front of me,” Harvey told the Seymour Herald.
According to eye witness Dennis Teffeteller, “The Grand Marque just pulled out in front of the truck and was struck by the red Chevy pickup and spun in a complete circle and ended up on the other side of the street.”
Another witness stated that it was a miracle that on-coming traffic didn’t hit the Grand Marque while it was spinning.
Both vehicles were occupied by one individual. Both appeared to have sustained injures which were undetermined at press time.
The SVFD, Sevier County Sheriff’s and the Sevier County Ambulance were on hand to assist.
