Two Sevierville men have been arrested for allegedly raping two children.

According to a release from the Sevierville Police Department, David A. Taylor, 35, Sevierville, and Tony Rice, 38, Sevierville, were arrested last Wednesday on unrelated charges of rape.

Taylor was charged with aggravated rape of a 2-year-old. Taylor’s is being held at Sevier County Jail and bond has been set at $500,000. No court date has been set.

Rice was charged with the alleged rape of a 13-year-old child. The child’s friend contacted her school resource office who contacted the SPD. A visit to the alleged victim’s home revealed evidence that led to Rice’s arrest. Rice has claimed to be innocent throughout the investigation. He is now being held at Sevier County Jail on $250,000 bond. No court date has been set.
