The Knoxville Police Department honored 48th Citizens Police Academy graduates with a ceremony last Thursday in Knoxville.

To graduate, the 17 citizens participated in classroom and field training led by KPD officers. With the training, the graduates are qualified to assist police with various duties on a volunteer basis.
