The warmer weather and vibrant colors of spring means it is time, once again, to bid farewell and good fortune to another graduating class from Seymour High School.
On May 28, students from the class of 2009 will turn their tassles and throw their hats at Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville to celebrate the passing of an era in their lives.
But the passage of that era is a bittersweet process for most seniors. For some, the prospect of attending college is an exciting one. Others have begun to realize just what they will be leaving behind.
"I will miss the band the most," said SHS Senior Alyssa Whiting. "There area lot of great teachers at Seymour High School too."
