Morgan Peterson is headed to the state tournament, finishing first in the discus and second in the high jump at the sectional meet in Chattanooga Tuesday.

In addition to sending Peterson to state, as a team, the Lady Eagles finished 6th out of 42 schools in attendance.

"The girls overall were sixth in the sectional, which was a really big feat. They did a really great job and competed all day long," Coach Cotton Julian said.
