Half the world away from Seymour, in a small village clenched by poverty, hunger and disease that plagues Tanzania, Africa, Anneth Gambi is praying for Susan Entner's pet fish.
"I sent her a picture of my little blue beta, and she wrote back 'I will keep praying that your fish grows big enough to eat,'" says Entner with a chuckle.
What is most profound about six-year-old Anneth's reply is not the stark contrast she so innocently illustrates, but the fact that she has written anything at all. In Anneth's world, Entner says, that is a miracle.
