The Lady Eagle tennis team bagged its fourth straight district championship last Tuesday, picking up points late in the tournament to take the win.

"We've won the district the last three years with the girls, and I thought going into the final day that we weren't going to win it this year, but Andrea and Maggie picked up the three points in singles, and that was enough to tie Alcoa," Coach James Cotter said.

Since the Lady Eagles had beaten Alcoa during the regular season, the district championship title went to Seymour.
