The traffic light was installed about two weeks ago and already it has created by joy and sorry.
A three car accident this past weekend illustrates the need for extreme caution with the addition of a new traffic light at Chapman Hwy and Rogers / Titsworth Springs Road.
According to sources the traffic lights at Food City and at Rogers / Titsworth Springs Road were installed at the urging of Barry Shular.
Sevier County Road Superintendent Jonas Smelcer told the Seymour Herald that a majority of the work performed at intersection of Chapman Hwy and Rogers / Titsworth Springs Road was paid for by Shular as were the traffic lights.
