Seymour tops Cosby 4-0 in first round of tourney

Despite the wind, rain and lighting delay, the Eagles beat Cosby 4-0 in the first round of the district tournament Monday.

Starting all their seniors, the Eagles controlled the flow of the game, but couldn't seem to find the back of the net in the first half of the match. Seymour did a good job of opening the field up and finding open players, but turned the ball over in the middle third of the field more than usual.

The Eagles got plenty of looks, but launched shot after shot over the goal.
