Jennifer Ann Lewis, 27, Cee Cee Way, Sevierville was charged with domestic violence assault over the weekend. According to a Madisonville Police report, Lewis’ mother, Betty Denis, Hicks Street, Madisonville complained to Madisonville Police Sgt. Jeremy Harrill that Lewis had been drinking and became upset when Denis requested her to go to bed. Denis said Lewis attempted to leave with her five-year-old son, so Denis tried to stop her. Denis said that Lewis threw her down and started kicking her. Harrill arrested Lewis and transported her to jail. Lewis’ address is listed on Hicks Street according to the Madisonville Police report. Lewis was released on $500 bond.
