Sevier County snapped Seymour's five game winning streak, upending the Eagles 9-2 at home Thursday night.

"They were the better team tonight. I give them credit. They swung the stick, and they swung it well. And our guys didn't lay down – they tried to come back, but shoot, there was just nothing we could do. Every inning they'd just score one, score two. They were just the better team tonight," Coach Scott Norman said.

The Eagles started out on top with starting pitcher Fields Fouse knocking in courtesy runner Logan Jenkins on a sacrifice RBI to put the Eagles up 1-0 going into the second inning.
