Despite the wind and intermittent snow, the Eagles heated up the diamond Tuesday, winning 7-4 over the Anthony Wayne Generals of Toledo, Ohio.

Zack Cook took his third win of the season on the mound for the Eagles, pitching all seven innings and giving up four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five.

The game started out slow for both teams with neither getting runners into scoring position, but the Eagles blew it wide open in the bottom of the third with six hits and a Keegan Newport grand slam to put Seymour up 4-0. Base runners driven in by Keegan were Ben Whisler, Fields Fouse and Hunter Crain.
