The Lady Eagles dropped a tough one to conference archrival Gibbs Tuesday night, losing 10-0 at home in six innings.

"We hung with them for four innings, and then they scored on us, and we put our heads down. It's frustrating. You stay in there, and you play hard, but as soon as they score you see it on their faces. I think the girls were defeated once they scored, and they showed it," said Coach Dayna Carter.

The Lady Eagles were neck and neck with Gibbs through the first three innings, with the game remaining scoreless until the top of the fourth. Gibbs would score twice in the fourth.
