Seymour soccer picked up another conference win Friday, soundly defeating Cosby 4-1 at an in-school match attended by the student body.

SHS had chance after chance, peppering the Cosby goal with shots, but didn't land a goal until the 34 minute mark when Austin Acree took it on the dribble and let it rip from just behind the 18, driving it into the far left corner.

After finally finding the back of the net, Seymour wasted no time in doing so again. With three to go in the half, Carson Jones served the ball inside, and it bounced around for a moment before Tanner Potts connected, knocking it into the back of the net from inside the eight yard box.
