Seymour First Baptist Church’s big spring rummage sale for missions is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, March 28. The church is at 11621 Chapman Highway. Proceeds from the sale help the church fund its many local, state, national, and international mission projects.
Donations of large furniture items and appliances can be dropped off at the church any time, or for pickup, call the church at 577-1954, or Mary Conner at 356-7668, or Frank Enter at 573-4934.
Smaller rummage items (dishes, books, good clean clothes, DVDs, cads, toys, bikes, tools, bedding, electronics, knick-knacks, etc.) can be dropped off at the church after Tuesday, March 24.
An auction of vehicles and equipment the same day will depend upon sufficient items available. Those wishing to donate automobiles, trucks, campers, rvs, tractors and other farm equipment, boats, riding mowers, etc., can call Frank Enter at 573-4934.
Mary Conner, rummage sale director, and Frank Enter, church missions coordinator, said that First Baptist Church is very grateful for the generous support of the Seymour community for past rummage and auction sales – both for donations and purchases. Also the church thanks the many volunteers whose hard work makes these sales possible.
