Others who will benefit from the Healthy Living Kitchen, presented by Kroger, class include those with diabetes, pre-diabetes, high blood triglycerides, obesity or heart disease.
Cost of the program, which includes the lesson and meal, is $20. To register, call (865) 305-6877 or visit online at www.utmedicalcenter.org/healthylivingkitchen .
The Healthy Living Kitchen team, which includes a registered dietitian, registered nurse and McKinney, will share tips on preventing and controlling diabetes through diet and lifestyle changes.
