With uncertainty in the economy affecting millions around the world, it’s not surprising that people right here in Sevier County might be looking for help.
The Community Connections Fair this weekend at the Sevierville Civic Center is a place where those who are struggling financially or who have other career or family needs can get information and find solutions.
The fair, which is in its first year, will be hosted by 54 different social and public service agencies, including the Family Resource Agency.
“It’s a place where those in need can find help and those who want to volunteer can do so,” according to Ruth Beagan of the Collier Restaurant Group.
