Seymour’s First Baptist Church is gearing up for its spring auction and rummage sale for missions set for Saturday, March 28. Proceeds from the sale help the church fund its many local, state, national, and international mission projects. 

Local projects have included building wheel chair ramps, installing a new kitchen flooring, and roofing a house.

The church is looking for large items such as furniture and appliances for the sale which can dropped off at the church prior to the sale or by calling 573-4934. 

 Seymour's First Baptist Church is working on several mission projects. This is one of their major fund raisers.  The church is presently partnering with Central Baptist Church of Buna, Texas, in helping to rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Ike. They will also be sending its disaster relief unit to Western Kentucky to aid in repairs from ice storm damage. The church’s last international mission trip was to Guatemala. Others are planned.
