Georgia was probably even more desperate for its first SEC win than Tennessee was to avenge its 78-77 loss at the buzzer to Auburn the previous Saturday.
However, the Vols proved too much for the Bulldogs, winning 79-48 at Thompson-Boling Wednesday night.
UT came out strong from the beginning, jumping to a 4-0 lead in just a little over the first minute off two Wayne Chism free throws, a steal by J.P. Prince and a layup by Tyler Smith.
