SEVIERVILLE – The Sevier County Commission’s Budget Committee agreed Monday to look into funding another victim’s assistance program during its next budgeting process.
Safe Space, located in Sevierville, recently asked the County Commission to allow it to share in money collected by the Sevier County Circuit Courts as part of a state-mandated victim’s assistance assessment.
Safe Space provides a 24-hour crisis line, shelter, emotional support, resource information and advocacy for legal, medical and Social Services issues.
