TOWNSEND – The Townsend Artisans Guild will host its second annual exhibit through February 15 at Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center in Townsend.
This year’s exhibit – “A Salute to the 75th Anniversary” – consists of varied media and reflects the diverse interests of the artisans.
Artisans scheduled to participate include Lois Alexander, illustrator/graphic designer/painter; Jan Barnes, jewelry; Susan Birdwell, painter/sculptor; Tony Birdwell, leather; Evelyn Bryant, clay sculptor; Mike Clemmer, handcrafted musical instruments; and Cindy Cutting, painter.
Also, Sherry Dial, basketry; Luman Dial, woodworking; Jeremy Doss, painter; Becky Goodman, stained glass; Neiland T. Hale, woodcarver; David Huber, potter; Mary K. Jenkins, painter/functional fish art; Beryl Omega Lumpkin, miniature basketry; and Joyce McCroskey, sculptor.
