SEYMOUR – Customers of Seymour Hardware store ate their final Christmas Eve lunch at the business, which is scheduled to close at the end of February.

“It was kind of like a customer appreciation meal,” said Ron French, who has owned the store at 10237 Chapman Highway for 23 of its 42 years in business.

“I started it about 15 years ago to let people know I appreciated them trading with me. This was the final year for it, and it was our last big hurrah. So we thought we’d do it up big this year.”
