SEYMOUR – Boy Scouts from Troop and Pack 585 will be collecting food for C.R.O.S.S. (Christians Reaching Out Serving Seymour) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Feb. 7, at Kroger's on Chapman Highway in Seymour.

C.R.O.S.S. provides food, financial, medical and other services to Seymour residents in need. The organization, located at 406 Boyds Creek Hwy. and supported by 17 area churches, has experienced an increase in assistance requests lately.

To help them, take canned and boxed food items to Kroger's and donate them to the Boy Scouts.
