Lady Vol fans are asked to “Bleed Orange” the week of February 16 to prove to Vanderbilt that the Volunteer spirit is alive and well in East Tennessee. 

This fan-based competition is in its eighth year, and according to Medic Regional Blood Center, the Lady Vol fans are quick to support the home team. 

“This competition has pretty much been dominated by Lady Vol fans. “We’ve won the traveling trophy every year except 2005,” said Christi Fightmaster, Medic spokesperson.

All donors will receive a free Lady Vols t-shirt and a coupon for free chicken minis from Chick-fil-A.
