KNOXVILLE – The University of Tennessee Lady Vol tennis team has been picked to finish fourth in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference, according to the 2009 Preseason Coaches poll.

The selection comes on the heels of being ranked 24th in the nation in the initial Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Rankings.

The University of Georgia earned 11 of the league’s 12 votes to conclude the season as the overall conference titlist, after winning its second consecutive SEC Tournament and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 last year.
