SEVIERVILLE – It was a tight game all night.
The game wasn’t over after 48 minutes, so the Eagles took the Bears into overtime to get the victory on Thursday night.
Seymour outscored Sevier County by five points in overtime to get a 76-71 win.
“Going into Sevier and beating them on their home floor is very special. It was a hard-fought game,” said Coach Kevin Windle. “I wanted the players to believe in each other and their selves.”
Seymour was down to Sevier County 33-30 at the break. The Eagles took a one-point, 50-49 lead into the fourth.
