SEYMOUR – It was a close game through the first half Friday night, but in the second, the Fulton Falcons proved to be too much for the Seymour Eagles.
The Falcons beat the Eagles 75-45, behind Fulton’s Jalen Steele, a future Division I basketball player.
Carlton Logue scored the first basket of the game to put the Eagles on top 2-0. The Eagles led 12-11 after the first quarter.
James Gallman, who has signed to play college basketball at Middle Tennessee State University, hit a 3-point basket to put the Falcons up 27-18 in the second.
Greg Korlin then hit a 15-foot jump shot to take the game into halftime with a score of 27-20.
With 4:49 left in the third quarter, Reggie Garrett’s dunk got Fulton’s fans on their feet and got the Falcons pumped up.
