SEYMOUR – Local dance students got a treat recently when acclaimed clogger Blake Bartlett taught them new steps during a workshop at Ashley’s Dance Studio.

Bartlett is an internationally known dancer, choreographer and instructor, and her abilities have made her one of the nation’s most sought-after instructors. She has appeared on the hit 2008 television show “America’s Got Talent,” making it to the semi-finals in Las Vegas.

Bartlett and her sister also coordinate and contract dancers from around the country to perform annually at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo. She spends most of her summers performing there, and offers workshops around the country.
