SEYMOUR – Childhelp Tennessee, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect, has announced it will be starting a training program for prospective foster parents on January 13.

The first day of class will serve as an information session to help community members learn about the rewards of serving children and teenagers as a foster parent.

There is no commitment on attendees’ part for coming to the information session.

The class will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the agency’s foster family agency office, located at 608 Old Brookhaven Farm Road in Seymour.
