The City of Sevierville Police Department, along with other area law enforcement agencies, will be participating in enhanced traffic enforcement efforts on New Year’s Eve.

Other agencies include the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Sevier County Sheriff's Office, Pigeon Forge Police Department and the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

SPD officers will be involved in a Wide Area Saturation Patrol (WASP) program, where a large number of officers will be dedicated to removing impaired and unsafe

drivers from the city’s roads.
