The Seymour High School Concert Choir will sponsor a SEVERE ATTITUDE WRESTLING Benefit Show on Saturday, Feb. 28, 09. The event, content appropriate for the whole family, will take place at 7:00 in the SHS gym. Tickets sold in advance will cost $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Tickets at the door will cost $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
This is the last fundraiser for the SHS Choir in a year-long effort to raise money for their trip to the Disney Honors Festival. The choir auditioned and was accepted to sing at the prestigious festival in March.

GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL
Congratulations to Katie Merrell and Laura Ogle.  Both singers auditioned and were accepted into the Governor's School for the Arts.
GRACE MOORE SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
Congratulations to Murrella Parton.  She is the 2009 recipient of the Grace Moore Music Scholarship at The University of Tennessee.  This scholarship offers full-tuition for 4 years.  Murrella is the 4th student from Seymour High School to receive this prestigious scholarship.
