The Sevier County 4-H Public Speaking Contest was held recently at the Sevier County Courthouse.

First, second and third place winners were named at each grade level and included:

Fourth grade: 1st place – Donnie Richmond, Sevierville Intermediate; 2nd place – Ashton Mashburn, New Center; 3rd place –  Sydney McKay, Pi Beta Phi.

Fifth grade: 1st place – Skylar McAllister, Pigeon Forge Middle; 2nd place – Sterling Fisher, Pi Beta Phi; 3rd place – Lauren Crigger, Boyds Creek Elementary.
