Tennessee sophomore Brian Williams turned in a career-game and the 14th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers handled Tennessee-Martin 91-64 at Thompson-Boling Arena Tuesday night.

Tennessee (2-0) has now won a school-record 34 consecutive home games and Vols’ head coach Bruce Pearl improved to 25-0 in non-conference home games.

Williams scored a career-high 21 points and pulled down 21 rebounds to pace the Vols.

“Coach has been on me so hard, telling me I play soft and telling me I need to get in there and be a dominant force and I tried to show him that today,” Williams commented.
