City of Gatlinburg to Auction Off Vehicles, Property
The City of Gatlinburg will conduct a public auction of abandoned vehicles and City of Gatlinburg surplus vehicles and property at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at the Gatlinburg Service Center on Newman Road, traffic light #2A.
All vehicles and surplus property shall be sold to the highest bidder, as is, with the City retaining the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Cash or certified check only shall be accepted the day of the sale. All purchased vehicles and surplus property must be paid for by the close of the sale, and must be removed from the site within 24 hours.
The City of Gatlinburg is listing four (4) trolleys and trolley parts and accessories and much of the miscellaneous surplus property listed on the City website on www.govdeals.com from November 8 to 17, 2008. The miscellaneous surplus property not sold online will be sold at the public auction on November 20.
The list of items to be auctioned off includes over 20 vehicles, miscellaneous office, electronic and computer equipment, radios sets, furniture, tools, lawnmowers and many other items.
