For different reasons, Saturday night was a memorable occasion for several different 411 Motor Speedway drivers.

Three of the six season points champions honored Saturday at 411 Motor Speedway took the night off but the racing action was nevertheless exciting as a pair of 411 drivers collected their first-ever wins at the legendary Seymour dirt oval.

Tiffany Sheehan (the 2008 points champion in the truck division), Charles Hurst (the ’08 points champ in the Late Model Feature division), and Robert Burris (the points champ in the Pure Mini (FWD) division) did not participate their respective division’s races Saturday after putting together championship racing seasons.

Hurst actually was getting set to race in the Late Model Feature when he flipped his car during heat racing. Hurst was taken to the hospital following the crash and was reported in good condition by his father following Saturday’s races.
