Townsend, TN – The Tomato Head, 211 West Broadway in Maryville, will feature a sandwich special on Thursday, October 23, and donate the entire sales price from the specials sold on that date to the Heritage Center. Members of Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center Guild will host the event. The Guild raises funds annually for the Center’s educational programs.
The special will be available all day and evening (Maryville location only) and can be ordered in-house or for carryout. If the day’s special is a meat sandwich, a vegetarian alternative will also be available.
The Tomato Head in Maryville is open 11 am to 9 pm. Covered parking (entrance on Harper Avenue) is available in the garage immediately next to the restaurant. Customers should exit the garage on the second level to get to the restaurant.
The Tomato Head has locations in both Maryville and Knoxville and provides fundraising opportunities for area nonprofit organizations throughout the year.
