The University of Tennessee Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will begin collecting non-perishable food items for the SEC “Together We Can Drive” at the Big Orange Blast Thursday, Sept. 18 in World’s Fair Park. 

“The Knoxville community is so supportive of Tennessee Athletics,” said SAAC president and UT wide receiver Josh Briscoe. “The can drive is a great way for student-athletes to give back, and to show the SEC what a giving community Knoxville is.”

Barrels will be placed at select UT home games from Sept. 18 through Sept. 28 for food drop-off.  All food and cash donations will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
